This wine provided a acetone-like smell, but it was not unpleasant like some. I also picked up some subtle plum aromas. The color of this red wine was really nice as well, seeming full and smooth. In the mouth it felt medium bold with a small bite of hotness on the finish, which was enjoyable rather than unpleasant.
